…Driest January through June in Nashville since 1988…

Nashville measured 15.84 inches of rain from January 1st through June 30th of this year…making for the fourth driest…first half of any year on record…and the driest January through June since 1988. The driest January through June ever recorded in Nashville was back in 1941…when only 10.04 inches of rain fell…followed by 1986 and 1988. Nashville weather records date back to November of 1870 when the Army signal corps began keeping records.
