Tornado damage in Henderson County.

A National Weather Service survey team rated tornado damage in Henderson County today. The team found two tornado damage tracks along with straight wind damage.

The first track ran from near Mills and Darden roads to old Jackson Road. Damage included one outbuilding destroyed…a second outbuilding damaged…large trees limbs broken…power lines down and a Mobile home shoved into a power pole. The team rated the tornado as EF-1 damage with peak wind gusts to 90 mph. The tornado width was 100 yards and the length was four miles.

The second track impacted the town of Wildersville near Webb Road.
Damage included shingles removed from a church…significant structural damage to a shed next to the church…tree limb damage and a broken power pole. The team rated this tornado as EF-0 damage with peak gusts to 80 mph. The tornado width was 30 yards and length was 200 yards.
