Memphis International Airport. This ties the previous record high
minimum temperature of 81 degrees set back in 2005.

The low temperature in Parsons was 76 degrees.

This ties the old record set in 1954.

A record high minimum temperature of 79 degrees was set at Jackson
McKellar-Sipes regional Airport. This breaks the old daily record
of 78 degrees set in 1952.

The high temperature in Parsons was 102.5 degrees.
The low temperature in Parsons was 74.8 degrees.

A record high temperature of 103 degrees was observed at Memphis
International Airport. This breaks the old record of 102 set
in 1901 and 1947.

An all time record high minimum temperature of 84 degrees was tied
at Memphis International Airport on August 3. This ties the old
all time record of 84 degrees set in 1980 and 1934. This also sets a
new record monthly high minimum temperature for August which was 82
degrees and was last set in 1982.

It should be noted that on only four other days in recorded history
has the minimum temperature only dropped to 84 degrees at Memphis
International Airport.

A record high minimum temperature of 77 degrees was set at Jackson
Mckellar-Sipes regional Airport on August 3. This breaks the
old daily record of 76 degrees set in 1952.

The high temperature in Parsons was 100.7 degrees.
The low temperature in Parsons was 73.5 degrees.
