EF-0 tornado surveyed by a Memphis National Weather Service survey
team in southern Gibson County Tennessee…
* location of event: 3 miles northeast of Humboldt in southern
Gibson County Tennessee.
* Time of event: approximately 2:30 PM CST…Thursday…November
25…2010.
* Beginning point: latitude: 35 degrees…50 minutes…47 seconds
longitude: -88 degrees…52 minutes…1.3 second.
* Ending point: latitude: 35 degrees…50 minutes…53 seconds
longitude: -88 degrees…51 minutes…22.7 second.
* Rating: EF-0.
* Estimated peak wind: 70 to 80 mph.
* Path length: approximately one half mile long.
* Maximum width: about 200 yards wide.
* Fatalities: none.
* Injuries: none.
* Summary of damages: the tornado briefly touched down along jim
bob Scruggs Road and traveled east crossing dollar Road and then
lifting just east of dollar Road. The tornado resulted in damage
to a dozen homes…with widespread roof damage. In
addition…there were multiple sheds destroyed and several snapped
trees.

This ties the old record of 75 set in 2003.
The high temperature in Parsons was 75.6 degrees.
A record high minimum temperature of 59 degrees was set at Jackson.
This ties the old record of 59 set in 1982.
The low temperature in Parsons was 57.3 degrees.
